| They began their operations in 1972 with the aim to introduce the first fully automatic line for the production of 22000 suppositories per hour in plastic containers. |

| Over the years, the production for low, medium and high outputs (from 2500 up to 30000 suppositories per hour) both for plastics and aluminium have also been developed. |

| They diversified their fields with supplies of machines for unit doses to BYK Gulden & Becton Dickinson for a sterile application. Many firsts came out from Sarong's den as in, it was the first to develop the automatic insertion of a spout/cap on thermoforming machines for unit doses. |

| Sarong has sold 400 machines in more than 30 countries covering the 80% share of the market. Over 30 patents have been developed, which are key functions in thermoforming such as forming without plastic waste & automated leakage checks for individual blisters. |
